What we will cover:
Brain dump/processing birth trauma/fear release
Techniques for mind and body preparation: hydration, nutrition, intentional movement, pelvic floor, scar massage, and bodywork
Prioritizing baby's position and movements
Ways to help you relax and cope, pain relief options, various positions to try during labor (how to keep these options fresh), knowing what’s normal and what isn’t, stages of labor, pushing options, etc.
Vaginal birth toolkit - strategy to preserve intended vaginal birth and reduce unintended cesarean
Deciphering prior operative report, guide for conversation and advocacy
Reducing the risk of rupture and overall risk analysis
Navigating decision-making, interventions, and advocacy
Securing a fully VBAC supportive vs VBAC tolerant provider
Policy check: continuous monitoring, epidural placement, saline-lock, induction, etc.
Special circumstances: placenta, multiple prior cesareans, special scar, etc.
